Thomas Ostebo to take command of group that has undergone major changes in recent months Ostebo Cruise Lines International Association has chosen as its next captain a retiring U.S. Coast Guard rear admiral with more than three decades of experience leading large organizations. Thomas Ostebo will become president and CEO of CLIA July 6. He replaces Christine Duffy, who left the association after three years to become CEO of Carnival Cruise Lines Feb. 1.
